# Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap (Tim Hortons Dupe)

> My take on the Tim’s chicken bacon ranch wrap: slow-cooker salsa chicken, bacon, veggies and ranch. Twice the size for about the same price.

## Ingredients

- 6 large tortillas
- 3-4 chicken breasts
- 1 large jar salsa
- 1½ cups cherry tomatoes
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 package bacon
- 1½ cups cheese of your choice (optional, shredded)
- ¾ cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)

## Instructions

1. **Salsa chicken.** In the slow cooker, cover the chicken with salsa (add a little water if needed). Cook on HIGH 4 hours or LOW 6 to 8 hours.
2. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir back into the salsa. Freezes 4 to 6 months.
3. **Bacon.** Cut the bacon into thirds. In a cold pot, add 100 ml water, cover and cook over medium-high, stirring occasionally. Drain.
4. Quarter the cherry tomatoes. Grate the cheese.
5. **To serve.** Pack the fillings separately and assemble at lunchtime, or chop everything together and roll burrito-style.

## Notes

Welcome to Office Lunch, where I show you how to save money and time on busy weekday lunches. The Tim’s chicken bacon ranch wrap is my go-to order… but every year it seems to get smaller. For about the same price, you get a wrap twice the size and way tastier.

The ingredients make about 6 wraps. Slow-cooker salsa chicken is what we call it back home.
